New Year's resolution in mid-December? When you get to my age there is no time to waste. I intend to take a backpacker walking tour of 60-90 days during the 2015 European Spring.
My current fitness level would not get me through the first day. I have 5 months to get in shape (I hope) and must start now
I must determine where I am and where I think I need to be by the end of April 2015. Putting this down in writing might force me not to find excuses (very good reasons) why I should divert from my goal.
My friends and family will not let me forget if I fail. So here I go!
Exercise Bike: 3 days a week.
Current Level 25 minutes, 9.5kms
Target 1 25 minutes, 10.5kms
Target 2, 50 minutes, 20kms
Walking With Backpack: 6 days a week.
Current Level: 7000 steps, 70 minutes with 5kg backup.
Target 1: 7000 steps, 60 minutes with 7kg backpack.
Target 2: 28000 steps, 300 minutes with 7kg backup.
Target: 20 minutes 3 days a week.
Current Weight: 90kg
All the above will keep me busy for a while. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
